Hi,
Can somebody explain me what's the matter with pings since yesterday? My ping suddently reached 150 (its 70 usually) and dont want to go down anymore, and I see today that none have a ping under 100 (in HL server). I did the tracert cs.iptcom.net, and here's the thing :

But I don't know why everyone's ping moved up... Because the error locates apparently in france (7   115 ms   115 ms   117 ms  level3-7.GW.opentransit.net [193.251.255.162], just before Paris point). And I don't know how I can modify itinerary or if I can use a proxy to play.

So : is there a server problem too or just the france server that transmit all connexions even those from ukr?

Both IP belongs to France, it looks like overload on interconnect point between your provider and Level 3, you may try to call to your provider and ask about problem

All right, so I just have to wait for them fixxing the lag... Because my provider certainly doesn't know what is the way my connexion uses and why some stages have high latency...

But nobody reports about it and no signs of lags on other ports, so... :rolleyes:

Server is fine, only you are the odd one in the server with the terrific lagg :) and players made a complain against your ping as well!

you may not believe this as we consider our self as an advanced players with IT related and we assure that it could be anything but not changing the cable lol.. but i think you should change your network cable like i did.. i was having the exact same problem and i tried everything,, although my ping was fine before and suddenly the ping problem started.. but once i changed the cable it get back like before :)

yeah i have what i believe is a wiring problem so maybe some day i will fix my lags :happy:

in my case it work.. anyway i dono if Px gave you this topic but it might help you out with ur issue..

Problem solved : I have 90 ping but my bro is downloading with utorrent + using youtube, which makes my ping growing up for 50, maybe I am low latency player now :o:o:o

utorrent is sucks.. most of the time torrent apps runs when windows start up automatically and the user doesn't notice that..
