hello,
i am having some ping issues from the past 2-3 days..
because of the countries distances my ping was 170-200 or sometimes 215..
but from this past days my ping increases to 400-500 and keeps frequently changing..due to this many others server plaers including me are having problems..
please suggest a suitable measure to overcome this problem!

Hi,

Basically its your internet service provider issue, call your internet service provider and ask them why the ping are too high to cs.iptcom.net .

for more accurate information you can run tracert command in your PC to cs.iptcom.net and past the data here.

Open RUN, type > cmd > press ENTER

write: tracert cs.iptcom.net

copy all the information and past here.

Ask with your CLAN members what service tag they are use. vaity+logan+psycho they have nice ping with no lags.

Make sure you are on dedicated line as well not with WiFI connectivity.

Problem at very beginning, check your system(s) for viruses and modem/router for overheat/malfunction. Usually that happens because power adapter is half-dead
If all of above is fine, then you need to talk with your provider

и посмотри, что у тебя на графике в момент зависания. И трейсить надо cs.iptcom.net, тот хост не обязан выдавать низкий пинг

Проверил на 2-х серверах такая же проблема, а на графике все отрубается просто и все, трассерт пинг норм всегда, думаю может модем барахлит... Нада бы в батлу сыграть проверить да все влом.

График зависает, или линии на нём уходят в разные стороны? Если первое, проверяй железо, если второе - модем

That's why you were hanging during game. seems NIC issue, try remove LAN and reinstall again. otherwise change Modem maybe that solve the issue.

Сравнил с другим Киевским сервером, у меня пинг 22 в среднем. Не знаю почему так, трасить не буду. Зато играл на хайлатенси с пингом 40. Не знаю, почему был пинг 40, но меня не выкидывало. Зато начали плакаться игроки, мол вали на лоу. А я может на хай давно хотел поиграть. ;) PX, если не выкидывает с хай, то мне можно с таким пингом там играть, а то уже баном мне грозятся. ))

Yes, contact your service provider, ask them to change your Router/modem. or atleast replace your UTP if that are old. and your PC lags depend on what antivirus/Firewall you are using on your operating system.

If i was the root admin i will first configure server to only accessible via hostname "cs.iptcom.net:27015", after that i will be able to change the IP of my hostname. :rolleyes:

EDIT: in this way i will never face issue again about IP remembering, because its useless to create A record for cs.iptcom.net if you only want to promote its IP instead its subdomain.

Make the same trace at late night (1-3 am) or early morning (7-9 am, in general, anything between 1-9 am should be fine), compare with current one, and you will see where the problem is

Проблемка нарисовалась пинг был 10-15 все было гуд, а с недавнего времени стал 100-120 и все стало не гуд :(

Попробуй Ping plotter или Multiping, кто-то из них умел по tcp/udp делать трейс, нужно в момент проблемы снять показания
