Simply delete your clan config file and ask your clan leader to send new one to you.

after u add the pass line "setinfo...etc" to ur config file, save and close it and then open the game, before u enter the server bring the console and write this command inside it "exec config.cfg" press Enter and then connect to server.

It should not matter if you not apply some other config file every time .
Else simply add setinfo _pw-ipt line to every config you use :c)

So , your password is invalid . Thats what console says . Check it with your clanmates . Or ... maybe they don't want to tell you ? :c)))))))))

vaity sent me his config..so I just edited the nick...!
pasted it in the cstrike folder as b4..
but this ain't working!

Are you sure you edit correct userconfig file? can you specify location of your file where you placed ?

yes gemini i edited it by replacing only the nick...and the correct file only!
placed in : counter strike 1.6 longhorn\cstrike

And you enter the server with random nick , exec your config , it changes the name and you get kicked right after that ?

I actually dint get ur statement..
but yes I can enter with other nicks...
but while playing whenever I type the set info and password in console .I get kicked...
and I cannot enter by typing exec config.cfg also

again.. after u add the privilege line to ur config file "not inside the console! to your config file manually" like the picture down here, save the change and close the config file, and then open the game before enter the server write the command "exec config.cfg" then try to connect to the server.

In my cfg file i only changed cl_cmdrate and cl_updaterate to compensate choke and loss , and i must exec my config almost every map change ... because server changes this rates even if cl_download 0 =(((((( It makes no sense for me to have someone's else config if there is no aliases or scripts to compensate recoil or flash and that is forbidden =\

That command have nothing to do with settings applied, and rates should be changed only if you have one of the default rate values of 30/20/3500
What values are you setting and what message you receiving in chat about rates change?

there was some trouble in the config set up by the clan leader...
now all set...
